The next option is to take the narrow gauge train from Pathankot and reach Kangra Valley which is situated about 94 kilometers from Pathankot and then take a taxi or car or bus to Dharamsala. One can also take the narrow gauge line train to Jogindernagar and get down at Chamunda Marg. Chamunda Marg is nearest railway station from Dharamsala on this line.
